Altan became acquainted with yin yoga during his Body Psychotherapy training. While pursuing this training he also expanded his field of knowledge with qigong and breathing coaching programs. Altan’s unique approach to yin yoga stems from blending the variety of training he received along the way. He tries to reduce the stress that complicates daily life and to calm the emotions, thoughts and body.
After parting with his career in corporate life, Altan devoted himself to Body Psychotherapy and started to receive training on this subject. As one of the 12 people who received this training in Turkey, he is the only person who applies this unique method.
During his training in Body Psychotherapy (certified by the European Association for Body Psychotherapy* (EABP)), he realized that he wanted to also specialize in yin yoga. In this way, Altan discovered how to find one's limits, how to listen to the body and how to calm the tiring mind. Altan completed the 200-hour Yin Yoga Specialization Program with Devrim Akkaya.
Additionally he completed the Mindfulness Academy Program in 2019 and the Breath Coaching Program with Mustafa Kartal at Nefes School in 2022
