Some tips to make your yoga experience better:
-It's always better to practice on an empty stomach, or eat at least two hours before practice.
-To prevent injury, try to avoid practicing yoga while taking medication that may make you drowsy, or when you are sick.
-Wear comfortable clothing,and practice barefoot.
-Be sure to tell your expert if of you have any injuries, illness or are pregnant.
-Be sure to wear deodorant and avoid heavy perfumes because most times yoga is practiced mat to mat proximity with fellow yogis.
-We do provide mats but it's recommended that you bring your own.
-Everyone is different!! Your practice will change each time to reflect you physically as well as mentally.
-Listen to your body:) always respect your limits.
-If you are unsure of whether or not a pose is ok for you, please ask your expert for guidance. Also tell your expert of ANY recent injuries, pain or illness.
-Focus on YOUR practice try not to compare yourself to others, and avoid chatting to your friends during session as this is distracting for others.
-Please come to session on time as this is a sign of respect for the expert and other yogis . Always allow At least 5 minutes for savasana.

-To fully experience the benefits of yoga allow yourself 30 minutes after practice to just be with you.
-Yoga is very personal, everyone's preferred style and practice is unique to themselves. Yoga is never constant and is always changing... Poses you may dislike one day can very well be your favorites at some point so try to stay unattached and open. Your yoga practice will change to reflect the ebb and flow of your life.
