Hatice Arzen Çelik graduated from Istanbul University, Department of History in 2013 with a major and a minor in Art History. She later completed her master's thesis in the field of Ottoman History. Hatice took part in different transliteration projects on Ottoman texts. She currently continues her studies as a PhD student in the same university.
Hatice was first introduced to yoga in 2010 at YogaŞala. She was particularly drawn to the Ashtanga Mysore sessions at YogaŞala. During this period, she had the opportunity to work with experienced teachers such as Dylan Bernstein, Beyza Yiğitcan, Canan Özalp, Harmony Slater, Heather Serna, Petri Raisanen, and Lucas Carvalho.
She completed the 200 hour Hatha Specialization Program with Rishi Nath in 2017.
In 2020, she also completed the 300 hours of Ashtanga and Yin Yoga Specialization Programs at the Kalpana Radhika Yoga School in Bali. In 2021, she completed the first phase of Dylan Bernstain's "Further Yoga Tradition" Mentorship Program and she still continues her studies of Ashtanga and yoga philosophy by taking part in the second phase of this program.
