Layal started practicing yoga in 2008 as a way to integrate a healthy balance of movement and stillness into her life. Soon she began to feel the transformation yoga had in her life and felt inspired to share this experience with others. In 2013 she quit her job in the corporate world and went to Rishikesh- India where she did her first teacher training with sivananda yoga vedanta. Since then, Layal has dedicated herself to the practice, learning and teaching of yoga. In 2015 she completed her advanced Sadhana with Shivananda. In 2016 she did yoga therapy from Andiappan Yoga School in Chennai, in 2017 she did the 500 hour Ashtanga training in Tattvaa yoga shala - Rishikish. Her passion for yoga led her in 2018 to stay in India for a year and live the yogic life to learn from the gurus and masters. During this year she studied the science of Pranayama, the yoga sutras and the philosophy of yoga with Sunil Sharma, the hand on Adjustments with yogi Kamal Singh and she trained more than 30 International groups in TTC. Layal is a member of yoga alliance as an Experienced yoga teacher with more than 1200 hrs of training.
Layal believes the mind, body and soul connection is a sacred one and one that should be nurtured and inspired. With this she teaches her classes creating an uplifting, safe environment for students to begin to explore and expand within their own body and consciousness. Layal finds a sense of grounding in both her practice and her teaching and she offers students an opportunity to find their edge, settle into their body and breath.
