Mert spent 2001-2009 away from Turkey, during this time he became interested in music. He studied sound engineering and researched the harmony of the human body and nature. He was also particularly drawn to the effect of music in different parts of the world, at that time he was still unaware that he would be deeply drawn to yoga. Mert was first introduced to yoga in 2015 and since 2016 he has been continuing his yoga training and sharing his practice in various places, especially in India, hari om tat sat ????????
Mert’s yoga journey started in India with a Massage Training Program in 2004 and continued with a 200 Hour Vinyasa Training program followed by a 100 hours Mentorship Program in India.
Then, in 2018, he completed a 50 Hours Yin Yoga Program in Turkey. Mert attended 30 Hours of Breathing Training Program in Nepal in 2022 and 300 Hours Kundalini-Kriya Program in India in the same year.
Mert had the privilege to work with Sarasvathi Jois between 2016-2023, and he assisted Sarasvathi Jois in her Mysore Shala in 2023.
