Nurcan was first introduced to yoga in 2015 and in 2018 she decided to advance her knowledge through an expertise program. She completed her first 200 Hour Expertise Program with Zeynep Aksoy, this program focused on Vinyasa and Yin Yoga. Her passion for yoga was further fueled by this experience and she decided to advance her education by joining the RYT YOGA ALLINCE 300 Hour Program where she had the privilege to learn from various experts: Görkem Dizdar (50 Hours Developmental Kinesiology), Berra Sertel (100 Hours Advanced Yin Yoga), Mey Elbi (30 Hours Restorative Yoga and the Art of Hands on Adjustments), Rana Ortan and Sinem Er (50 Hours Mid to Advanced Level Vinyasa), Sima Havlucu (15 Hours Aerial-Fly Yoga). Following this training she completed an additional 200 Hour Program with Zeynep Aksoy. Meanwhile, Nurcan continued to join numerous physiotherapy workshops focusing on a range of topics including pain perception and inner strength. In these workshops Nurcan was particularly drawn to the connection between pelvic floor meditation methods as they can help woman address the issues relating to the early menopause process. She found these methods to be particularly beneficial. Nurcan continues to educate herself and also learn about herself. She believes the more she understands herself the more she will be able to understand others. She abides by the philosophy “don’t believe others, try for yourself.” Nurcan teaches Mindfulness, Vinyasa and Yin Yoga sessions.
