Restorative - Yin Yoga is a relaxing and healing practice where Restorative poses are combined with Yin poses as needed. Most poses are practiced on the floor. In some poses the fascial structure of the body is effected, while in others the body is put to a deep restful state with supports. The deep layers of the body are effected through the practice. Poses are held anywhere from 3-10 minutes.
The body is influenced on the organic level. The flow of energy through the meridians and connective tissue respond to the long held postures. The body, mind and spirit are harmonized through breathing, meditation and mindfulness exercises.
