Serra's first encounter with yoga was in 2016. From that day onward, her connection with yoga grew deeper and deeper and in 2017 she successfully completed the Yogaşala Yoga Alliance 200 hours Certification Program with Ürün Kurtiç. In the meantime, Serra was introduced to Ashtanga Yoga, and this yoga style became an important part of her life. In 2018 she travelled to Mysore, India where she had the honor to practice with R. Sharath Jois's mother Saraswathi Jois in her Shala. In 2019 she completed Yogaşala's 80 Hour Mentorship Program with Canan Özalp.
Throughout these years, Serra had the privilege to practice and learn from numerous yoga experts such as Dylan Bernstein, Petri Raisanen, Lucas Carvalho, and Oswald Li.
Serra believes in the transformational power of Ashtanga yoga, and she aims to teach her sessions with a focus on the connection between breath and asana.
