Umit became acquainted with meditation during her university years,during her student life she integrated meditation into her life.
In 2010 she started practicing yoga and soon realized the positive effects of yoga on her life. She took it upon herself to develop and deepen in the field; In 2018, she completed the 200 Hours Yin Yoga Specialization Program with Lebriz Dedeoğlu, and followed this up with an 80 Hours YogaŞala Mentorship Program with Lebriz Dedeoğlu.
She furthermore completed the "Breath Coaching Certificate Program", and the "200 Hours Mindfulness Based Yoga Learning and Deepening Program" with Mey Elbi and Rana Ortan in 2020. Following this she completed the “40 hours of Internship and Mentoring Program on the Path to Yoga Expertise” and 60 hours of Intermediate and Advanced Level Vinyasa Sequencing, Theme Creation, she also completed the Vinyasa Yoga Mentoring program with Eric Powel.
Umit furthermore took part in the “50 hours of Restorative Yin Yoga” with Lebriz Dededeoğlu and “75 hours of Yin Yoga” with Asu Somer in 2022. She chose yin yoga as her primary field of focus. Simultaneously, she have the chance to study with various valuable yoga experts such as Bernie Clark, Paul Grilley, Esther Ekhart with whom she attended workshops and trainings.
In her sessions she enjoys sharing her achievements on this journey she embarked on, she also takes pleasure in being a part of the participants' own journeys as an exciting and inspiring process.
