Ürun, started practicing Ashtanga Yoga while she was studying History of Arts in London, in 2003. She accepted yoga as a way of living and became a dedicated student of Yoga Philosophy and Ayurveda. She began assisting the classes during the period that she lived in the Sivananda Yoga Ashram. At the same time for 2 years she has learned the Vinyasa system with great experts at Triyoga.
In 2006, she left London for good and went on a journey in India for 6 months. There, she completed her first Yoga diploma education and attended meditation retreats. She got inspired by many experts but primarily R. Svoboda, Richard Freeman, Siva Rea and Shandor Remete. Every year she continued to study in India and in London to advance her knowledge of yoga. In 2011 she completed the 500 hr Yoga Alliance certificate program with Quantum Yoga in London.
In her sessions, she focuses on bringing the body, mind and breath in harmony and to enliven Prana (Life Energy) in a natural rhythm. She encourages participants to discover one of the most amazing secrets of Yoga practice; the Core Power and the Bandhas.
Ürün is very excited to attend Richard Freeman’s one-month Intensive program in July 2012.
